Deep breathing exercises are one of the best cleanses you can do. Deep breathing stimulates the lymphatic system, increase circulation, and breathing is the number one way that your body gets rid of toxins.
The best thing about a deep breathing cleanse is that it’s free. You don’t have to buy anything to do deep breathing exercises. The support deep breathing gives to your immune system makes it great for your skin. The increased circulation is also good for your skin. Especially for you cheeks.
As long as you have good hygiene, (take frequent showers, wash your face, sleep on clean pillow cases, etc.) if you start doing deep breathing and cardio exercises the increased blood flow to your cheeks will help to clear up pimples on your upper cheeks. Other causes for pimples on your upper cheeks include asthma, smoking, and pollution.
Take your breathes in through your nose from your navel. If you lead a sedentary life style it has likely caused you to take shallow breaths from your chest area. Start taking your breaths from your navel area instead, and breathe in through your nose. Do not frequently take deep breaths.Taking frequent deep breaths or in rapid succession can lead to health problems such as angina and uncontrollable coughing. When you take a deep breath take it slow and let it come naturally.
Cardio exercises for acne.
The increased circulation from a cardio exercise increases the blood flow to your cheeks and helps to clear up the pimples on your upper cheeks. Cardio exercises also reduces stress, and much more. Do fifteen minutes of cardio a day to see results. Exercise from home on a treadmill or an elliptical machine. If you don’t have either of those do a combination of jumping jacks and jumping rope or invisible jump rope. The P90X home workout program has many cardio exercises to do at home.
Deep breathing exercises for acne.
Lay on your back or sit in a hard back chair when doing deep breathing exercises. Slowly inhale and completely fill up your lungs to the count of five, and then slowly exhale completely to the count of five. Next, do the same thing, but to the count of six. Remember to take it slow and keep doing this exercise while increasing the count by increments of one second up to the count of ten.
Another deep breathing exercise is to slowly inhale and completely fill up your lungs to the count of ten, hold your breath to the count of ten, and then slowly exhale completely to the count of ten.
Do not do deep breathing exercises while driving a car or operating heavy machinery.
Let fresh air in for a more effective cleanse.
Fresh air flow is great for your health especially when doing deep breathing or cardio exercises inside. The circulated air inside your house is far more toxic than the air outside. By opening up a window while doing deep breathing or cardio exercises your body will take in less toxins and release more. If you do not have the option of opening up a window use an ionic air purifier or a diffuser while doing exercises inside.
Changing the way that you breathe, deep breathing exercises, and cardio workouts are not meant to supplement a skin care routine. As mentioned having good hygiene comes first, and that includes a good skin care routine if you have acne prone skin. There are no clinical studies that show that exercising of any kind helps improve acne symptoms. However, it can’t hurt to start an exercise routine because there are benefits to the skin that come from the increased circulation and a boosted immune system. Having a more positive outlook on your appearance can also help with acne. This will mean less stress and a higher self-esteem. Stress is a cause for acne. So the more you reduce stress factors on the body the better.
Consult with your doctor before doing any, all, or some of the following: changing the way you breathe, starting any exercise program, or doing any type of deep breathing exercise.
