It’s a natural reaction to want to get rid of pimples as soon as they appear. But then there’s the aftermath. The skin becomes puffy, red, and sometimes damaged causing acne scars that can be unsightly and irritating.
Next time you have a pimple that you need to pop. Don’t feel so bad when you do because there are home remedies for acne scars to treat puffy, red, and scarred skin. Pick a certain time of the day or night to pop pimples. It’s best to pop them after you wash your face so to avoid washing your face more than two times throughout the day incorporate popping into your normal acne routine. When applying salicylic acid avoid sensitive areas such as the eye area, eyebrows, and keep a quarter inch away from the mouth.

- Wash your face with warm water first.
- Use three uncoated aspirin or one packet of BC aspirin.
- Mix with one to two teaspoons of water.
- Apply to spots or the entire face.
- Let it dry for fifteen minutes then rinse it off.
Do not apply aspirin more than once or twice a week otherwise your skin will grow tolerant to it.

- Wash your face with warm water first.

Use a moisturizer that won’t clog pores and contains SPF 30 in it after using either remedy. Salicylic acid makes the skin very delicate and fifty percent more susceptible to the suns UV rays because it removes the upper layer of skin. To prevent scarring do not exfoliate, use peels or pore strips right after applying salicylic acid remedy or treatment. Also, do not use salicylic acid peels because they can make scars worse.
One of the quickest home remedy for acne scars is vitamin E oil. Dab some pure organic vitamin E oil onto a cotton ball or square and apply it to your acne scars. Apply just enough to give your face a slight glisten. Vitamin E oil does not clog pores.
Use over the counter ointments for acne scars sparingly. Over the counter ointments such as neosporin may contain acne fighting ingredients, but are often paired with ingredients that can cause breakouts. Over the counter ointments for scarring should not be used periodically on the face. When applied to one spot on the face frequently it will cause that area to appear faded. So do not use over the counter ointments as a pimple remedy. Instead apply a thin layer of an over the counter ointment such as neosporin after popping a pimple to help reduce scarring, but wait at least a week before reapplying in the same spot.
Do not squeeze or try to remove blackheads. Most blackheads are too deep seated to be removed without causing acne scars. Steam your face regularly once a week then apply a salicylic acid or clay mask to help clear up blackheads. Apply tea tree oil diluted in aloe vera gel, jojoba oil, or vitamin E oil daily to your entire face will also help get rid of blackheads and acne.

I tried all that tipocal stuff but I found doxycycline which is a miracle drug for me. It will clean up your face and in a reasonable amount of time too. Acne will be a thing of the past
